When we launched Reconstructing Richmond during First Fridays in Jackson Ward on May 1, the community showed up in a major way — helping us raise over $10,000 in the first 24 hours alone.

Since then, our team has continued showing up across Richmond — from Rest Fest to countless conversations with people in the community who believe in the importance of documenting this moment in our city’s history.

On May 28, we’re hosting a special donor reception centered around the future of the film and our next phase of production. Guests are encouraged to support the campaign at the $100 level or above to help move the documentary toward completion. Register here.
